Return to work after a mental health break feeling confident, secure and at ease

You are a driven career professional who has given so much to successfully achieve your life goals and dreams.
You abruptly took a break from work to take care of your mental health...
...and you've worked hard to get recovery support.
You are now facing a choice:
You want to do the right thing for your professional career, but you also need to do the right thing for YOU.
You still have big goals for yourself,
but you now have self-doubt, feel overwhelmed and insecure about the prospect of going back to work.
You know you want to - but:
you are afraid of what your mental health struggles might mean for your ability to cope at work.
you worry about how you will be treated by your peers and leaders.
you have big questions and you can’t begin to figure out how to find answers for them.
But you want to take matters into your own hands - you believe deep down, you deserve to continue to work well and feel well.

Hi, I'm Karina!
Return to Work Coach & Consultant, HR Expert and Mental Health First Aid instructor
I've built a successful career in People & Culture spanning nearly two decades in the consulting, outsourcing and healthcare industries across diverse cultures and geographies.
And then I burnt out barely a year after becoming a mom.
That period of recovery and change became the impetus for me to step aside from the corporate grind and embark on my most meaningful endeavour yet - to support you and your teams stay healthy at work.
I deeply believe that our work/workplaces are not the enemy of wellbeing.
Instead, they should be a source of meaning, community and stability - foundations necessary to keep our wellbeing in check.
I appreciate your guidance of first being clear about the learnings gathered during the absence, and then consider the return as a gradual process to implement them and consolidate the recovery: a process where adequate support can make a significant difference!
I learned that it's important to have a return to work plan and that I can inform how my return to work happens and make it successful. I hadn't thought of the fact that I am empowered in this situation and can ask for what I need.
In my mid 40ties and in the middle of a career/personal transition, I needed support in moving towards decision-making and action taking. Karina has been for me key in this journey of personal leadership. It has been empowering and has helped me to re-gain trust in myself.
